HOUSTON, TX — September 29, 2026 — Houston-based Christian artist Livin Water has released his new single, “Like I Never Left,” continuing his musical journey following Unfinished Business Chapters 1 and 2. Inspired by faith and personal reflection, the song centers on perseverance, purpose, and continuing forward even when it feels like there is nothing more to give.
After Unfinished Business Chapter 2, Livin Water thought he might be finished making music. He ultimately felt he still had more to offer and believed that pushing himself creatively while strengthening his relationship with God could lead him somewhere new.
“I felt I had more to offer, and if I could push myself and really tap into my relationship with God, I could create something greater than I could have ever imagined,” said Livin Water.
The inspiration for “Like I Never Left” comes from the artist’s belief that people should continue using their time and abilities for as long as they have the opportunity. Even when others may not understand the decision to keep going, Livin Water believes someone’s persistence can inspire another person who may be watching from a distance.
The single is planned as part of Livin Water’s forthcoming project, Headspace . The project draws inspiration from his current stage of life and explores the internal struggles people experience while navigating faith, hardship, temptation, heartbreak, difficult emotions, and personal desires.
For Livin Water, Headspace represents the mental battlefield of confronting difficult thoughts and moments while working toward peace and better days. His approach reflects a broader theme throughout his music: being open about life’s struggles while maintaining his faith.
“Life is just a bunch of moments we try to conquer,” said Livin Water. “There will be great moments and horrible moments. Hold on to the memories of those great moments to get through the not-so-great ones. Your moment will be right around the corner.”
With “Like I Never Left,” Livin Water begins another chapter of his musical journey with a renewed sense of purpose and a message of perseverance. The audio is available on Spotify and Audiomack.
